SHAREN SHIELDS KILLED ON HIGHWAY 98, FOLEY ALABAMA

On May 1, 2015, Sharen Shields a passenger in a vehicle on Highway 98 when the vehicle she was in was rear-ended while stopped in traffic. Ms Shields was taken to a local hospital and later died of her injuries. Sharen Shields’ sister, Karen Sims, and her niece, Natalie Sims, all were injured in the crash. The driver of the vehicle that caused the tragic accident, was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. This was a tragic and uncalled for accident. An accident of this nature needs to be investigated immediately to maximize the recovery for all of those involved.
