Loaded gun to elementary school. After the atrocity that happened at Sandy Hook Elementary and other schools across the nation, it is hard to believe that someone else would even think about taking a gun (loaded) to an elementary school.
Barbara Grice, 51, had gone to the school looking for her sister who was an employee at the school. Elberta Police told FOX10tv that another employee at the school let Grice in and her sister fled and locked herself in an office. BCSS Director of Communications Terry Wilhite says school officials immediately activated their safety plans and there was almost an immediate response from law enforcement. Grice was taken into custody without incident and is being held on a $1 million dollar bond. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s office and Elberta Police Department are investigated the case.
